Tutorial: Customize multiple audio effects with FX Configurator

This tutorial is for Windows 10 and 8.1 only

Example: DTS Audio + Sound BlasterX 720
DTS Audio Win 10 8.1.ini + Sound BlasterX 720 Win 10 8.1.ini

Copy one of the config first, e.g. DTS Audio Win 10 8.1.ini config and rename to another name e.g. DTS SBX720.ini

Open DTS SBX720.ini, which contains

Move the GUID under SFX,MFX,EFX to CompositeSFX, CompositeMFX, CompositeEFX respectively

Don't close DTS SBX720.ini, open Sound BlasterX 720 Win 10 8.1.ini, which contains

Add all the GUIDs to DTS SBX720.ini, become like this

Save and Load DTS SBX720.ini config and import the registry that mention from the configs from DTS Audio Win 10 8.1.ini + Sound BlasterX 720 Win 10 8.1.ini

May sure the Single Audio Effects zone (Left side purple zone) is clear, BUT
For DTSi and DDL 5.1 unlock, patcheded rltkapo64.dll/rltkapo.dll AND combine Realtek Audio Effects Win 10 8.1.ini  AND adding Realtek EFX {A29EB043-6CE2-4ee2-B38C-F58719E0D88F} under [EFX] section on combined multiple audio effects INI is required


If you want the combine audio effects such as this
Dolby PCEE4.ini + DTS Audio Win 10 8.1.ini
Dolby Advanced Audio v2/Dolby Home Theater v4 + DTS Audio

If audio effects don't work, add GFX {56E00778-C664-4BB5-AA2B-CA6F14840BB3} to CompositeMFX instead of CompositeEFX
